Southern Comfort Ice Cream Pie
Baby don't cry, we gonna make pie!
Because summer is scorching and serving hot pies is kind of.. stupid, awkward and redundant! I made Southern Comfort Ice Cream Pie last Sunday for my brother's birthday.
It consists of the following layers; let us dissect!
- Graham cracker crust
- ladled with thick fudge sauce
- sprinkled with peanuts thereafter
- layered with vanilla ice cream with peanut butter streak
- fudge sauce, peanuts, vanilla ice cream + peanut butter on repeat
- then finally topped with fudge sauce and peanuts again

TIPS!
1) Measurements: You really don't have to follow the measurements on this recipe, maybe except for the crust
2) Substitutes: You may substitute oreos or chiffon cake for the graham crust, or caramel for the chocolate. The great thing about this ice cream pie is that it's flexible! You can add more/less ingredients according to your liking! Cherries, cream cheese, whipped cream, cinnamon, apples, etc
3) Layers: If you want a defined, clean layer I suggest you freeze the pie each time you add a layer. For example, fudge layer and peanut - freeze for 15 minutes, vanilla + peanut butter layer freeze for 15 mins before adding the next layer, so on and so forth.
4) Time: Make this ice cream over night.
5) Lining: Line your pie pan with a parchment paper / wax paper, easier to take out of the pan
Enjoy! :)
